Way cool and surprisingly rare is this 1972 Gibson SG 11 Aimed at the budget conscious player back in the day but has all the elements that make for a great players vintage guitar. This one although original finish looks like its had a coat of clear, stain or both to the top and back of the body. However it is all original with its ink stamped serial # with virgin electronics dated to 29th week of 1971. It weighs just 5.8 lbs or 2.6 kg with no breaks or repairs. It has a one sizeable ding to the top below the bridge and various finish scrapes. The original nickel Gibson Deluxe tulip tuners work well and the pickups which look to be mini hum buckers? read 5.67 K ohms neck and 6.0K bridge. Frets are un marked and the neck sports a 40mm nut with a no surprises C shape neck.
