Here we have an incredible Gibson Explorer from the 1976-80 reissue series in natural that weighs in at only 7 lb 10 oz /  3.6kg!! The same guitar in specification as the 1976 Ltd Edition as famously used by the ‘Edge” with U2. Equipped with 2 sealed Bill Lawrence “Tarback” humbuckers, long neck tenon and tunomatic bridge with posts direct into the top. As you can see the condition is very good with minimal fade to the mahogany finish and hardware gold plate. The condition also extends to the frets and board which are largely unmarked and the guitar plays faultlessly up and down the neck. The only change from factory i can see is the locking tuner strap pins but thats always a good idea with an Explorer! Comes with its original brown Gibson case
