Probably not one of the best Gibson designs aesthetically but this guitar has really surprised us not only with its great playability and equally surprising loud acoustic tone, but plugged in the single coil pickup really suites the thin line hollow body giving a sweet rounded amplified acoustic tone. The guitar is essentially a 125t in dimensions and construction but with a surface mount single coil pickup and control assembly. It has a 43mm nut width and is 24 3/4″ scale. The guitar is in good all original condition with the usual age related checking. We notice some marks either side of the neck on the face of the body where it looks like some decorative stickers once sat, but its just cosmetic and not that obvious to the eye. All in all it represents great value and a very useable vintage guitar.
