Here we have a fantastic opportunity to acquire a clean lightly used Gibson R9 at a realistic price. It has a very attractive flamed maple top finished in a rich deep sunburst finish. The fretwork is very good and all the lines are clean and sharp with just the lightest of handling marks to the cellulose finish. It comes with all the case candy and menu certificate book including the original bill of sale along with its re issue Lifton case. It weighs in at 8 lbs 9 oz which is ideal “Burst” weight and it sounds just like you would expect. Used R9’s are easily into the £5k’s these days so i don’t think this one will be around too long.
