1990 Gibson ES 295

Here we have a fabulous example of the hard to find Gibson ES 295 finished in the desirable all gold finish that has started to age beautifully with lacquer checking just like the originals. The pickups have been swapped out for Seymour Duncan P90’s and sound brilliant with the original Gibson P90’s in the case. It has a reissue Melita Syncho-Sonic bridge fitted currently but the original tune-o-matic bridge which was once pinned to the top is in the case. Another modification is the neck volume pot has been changed to a push pull type allowing phase reversal in the middle position adding to its versatility plus the knobs have been changed to aged versions with the originals also retained. In the past the neck strap button has been moved to the heel and also another position close to the original location both now filled. The frets show hardly any wear along with the fingerboard and it plays extremely well up and down the neck. All in all a really nice example of this legendary guitar championed by both Scotty Moore and Geordie Walker. It comes in its original brown Gibson case.
