1967 Fender Coronado Candy Apple Red
I used to see these all the time but like everything now harder to find, we in fact sold this guitar some 10 years ago and pleased to have it back with us. A great way to get into Fender custom colour finishes without breaking the bank, and candy apple seems to be one of the harder colours to find with this model with lake placid and the wildwood’s turning up more often. I like the tremolo set up with this model too which is similar in feel to the Jazzmaster. This one as you can see looks killer with its age related crazing and checking and matching headstock. The back of the neck has the worn in nitro pre CBS feel and the guitar plays really well on its original frets. The de’armond single coil pickups are balanced with a strong rounded output and good for many styles. Comes with a hard case.
