This amazing Guild Starfire started life as a Starfire 11 but was upgraded to a 111 with factory Guild parts. The Guild harp tailpiece and bridge are in the case pocket should you wish to revert it, but we think the guitar is fantastic as is. It’s completely original with two desirable Dearmond pickups which are factory out of phase in the middle position which gives that recognisable honk sound. This one has been fitted with the plush Kolb tuners and the whole guitar has a very quality feel about it that we wonder if it might have been a special for a show or something. The cherry finish over the mahogany construction is very rich and the whole instrument has light wear for its 59 years with most of it confined to play wear to the back of the neck. Just a really nice vintage guitar thats getting rare to find in this configuration. Comes with its original Guild fitted case.
