1963 Fender Super 2 x 10 Combo

Here we have a fine example of Fender’s legendary “Brown Face” Fender Super amplifier. Seen as a bridge between the earlier tweed amps and the soon to be released blackface range. of course it has the desirable phase-shifting harmonic tremolo which is lush and adds so much colour to the sound. It looks to be all original with the exception of the filter caps which have been changed which is a good thing. The amp is very clean with just a small mark to the lower right corner of the grill cloth. Most of the valves look to be original as are the speakers, foot switch and all the transformers. Rated at 40 watts and relatively light it makes for a fantastic gigging amplifier. Its from the last year these were produced and features the 6G4-A circuit. The amp has been earthed correctly with a 3 prong cord with the original cable in the back and of course it runs at 110v so a step down transformer will be needed. These don’t come up very often especially not in this condition so here’s your chance! Collection preferred on this one as i’m not keen on shipping vintage amps
