Here was have a fabulous example of the first and most collectible version of the Gibson ES 330. The 59 to early 62 guitars have the dot neck finger boards and the black plastic pickup covers in what i see as a hangover from the 1950’s that are to be replaced by block markers and nickel covers mid 62. The guitar plays faultlessly with a deep smooth voice that seems to be missing from later models. The finish is most attractive with its age related checking and normal wear for a 61 year old guitar. A very cool guitar that we don’t see very often these days. Comes with its yellow lined black pebble dash Ess & Ess case
