1953 Fender Telecaster

1953 Fender Telecaster. Beautiful 53 “Blackguard” thats been fitted with an early 56 neck. The neck has been refinished in the distant past but the Tadeo Gomez neck date TG-1-56 survives and it still has the round string tree. The body has its original butter scotch finish and is dated 9-53 in red pencil. The wiring has been changed to modern switching with what looks to be a original tone capacitor. The volume pot has been has been changed along with the pickup hookup wires, but i believe the windings are original and it sounds killer with that famous blackguard bottom end. Weight is 7.21 llbs Comes in a mid 1950’s Fender Tweed case.
