Harmony H1150 “Woodpanel Artdeco” Acoustic Guitar

Here we have a charming example of a Harmony acoustic guitar USA’s most prolific guitar manufacturer. Between 1945 and 1975 its thought over 10 million guitars were built, many sold from Americas department stores of the age. The H1150 was made from 1937 through to 1942 and features the late 1930’s “idento”tailpiece. This one is in great condition with the intricate wood inlays to the top  painted on, not something that could be contemplated today or even executed as well. Its scale length is 24 1/4” with a 43mm nut and the guitar has been set up with a new saddle in the rosewood bridge and as a result plays extremely well and nails that old time blues dust bowl sound. Its nice to look at too and comes with its original card case
