Circa 1966 Fender Bandmaster/Bassman Cabinet EX Hookfoot

£399.00

Here we have a mid 1960’s Fender Bandmaster or Bassman cabinet. i’m not sure if there was a difference between them. The original speakers are long gone which may be a good thing and its loaded with Eminence 12″ drivers which do the job well. It has the tilt back legs but the piggy back bolts are missing. Pictures tell the story and it partners the Bassman 100 head we currently have nicely or maybe you have something for it.

This Fender 2 x 12 speaker cabinet is from the late 60s and was originally owned by Caleb Quay of Hookfoot who bought it with the advance money from DJM (Dick James Music publishing) the speaker cabinet was used on the Tumbleweed Connection album by Elton John when Hook foot was employed as the session backing band . It is made of marine plywood with interlocking corners. and was originally beige but due to the scarcity of material was recovered in black in the 70s .
