2005 Gibson Les Paul Standard R9

Here we have an attractive flame top Gibson R9 that’s not too over the top and is nicely matched and balanced. The guitar weighs in at 8 lbs 8 0z and has had its pickups up graded to Shed PAFs which measure 7.62 k ohms on the bridge and 7.02 k ohms on the neck. The pick up rings and pick guard have also been up graded to a more accurate aged Crazyparts replacements. We do not have the original parts. The guitar feels very responsive and resonant which may be a result of being used extensively throughout its past. Saying that there is minimal fret wear and the overall guitar is in good condition but it does show indentations mainly to the back and lacquer checking from use which really adds to the guitars authenticity as a historic. You can hear the tone in the guitar acoustically with that unmistakable fusion of maple and mahogany giving bite with just the right amount of “honk”. All in all a really great example that comes with its original case, certificates and tags.
