2002 Cornell Romany Plus
I think this is probably the first year of manufacture and i have owned it since about 2005, it’s an incredible amp and vastly to superior to later models that i have tried whilst being a Cornell dealer. I think it’s largely due to the open back cabinet and this early model does not have the attenuator just a loud soft switch which i think affects the circuit and sound. It still has the eq cut switch which basically turns from clear chiming Fenderesque sounds into a dirty Deluxe at the flick of a switch. Also the Reverb is huge and spacious, it’s also considerably lighter than later models and has never presented me with any problems. Its not getting the use these days since the shop showroom closed so time for it to find a new home which i will probably regret.
