1974 Martin D35
Another guitar getting hard to find on the vintage market. This shaded mid 1970’s Martin D35 is in great condition for its years. I can see no major dinks or scrapes other than minimal handling wear associated with very light use. The original frets are unmarked and the only thing worth mentioning is a small crack in the binding behind the dot at the 5th fret which is causing no issue. Basically a D28 with a cool Rosewood 3 piece back Introduced as part of the new 35-series in 1965, the D-35 was similar to the D-28 in its use of Rosewood for its back and sides. Key differences between the two dreadnoughts include cosmetic styling and binding details, as well as the use of a three-piece back on the D-35. Like other Martins, a major point of differentiation for the D-35 came in 1969 when Martin began the transition from Brazilian to Indian Rosewood.
