1971 Fender Musicmaster Bass

I love these old student guitars from Fender the quality is equal to the rest of their range or perhaps even superior in hindsight, as these bass’s are still finished in nitro cellulose just like they did pre 1968 where after they start using polyester as base coats and as a neck finish. So this guitar has a wonderful feeling worn in nitro finish 30 inch scale length neck with an Olympic White finish that has aged to a cream. The guitar has never been apart from factory and it won’t be me that does it. The finish shows some wear with the usual arm wear to the top bout. The frets show wear to the first 6 positions but it still plays good. It weighs in at a hair over 8 lbs which i’m sure will appeal to a lot of players. The thumb rest is still present and the single coil pickup is full and punchy. No case with this one but we know how to pack them to get it to you unscathed.
