weighing in at just a hair over 6 lbs is this unbelievably clean 1969 Gibson ES 330 complete with its case and hang tags, a true investment collector grade guitar if i ever saw one. I hate the term “mint” as someone will find something somewhere, but apart from the lightest of handling marks it can be described as mint condition. This guitar now has the long ES 335 style neck that joins the body at the 17th fret and the more astute among you will notice that it sports Epiphone Casino trapezoid inlays. This is the second ES 330 i have had with this style of inlay, so perhaps a special order or more likely a mixup or shortage of block inlays at the factory on that day. Either way its very cool to have. The sunburst finish is rich and unfaded and all the chrome and plastic gleams like new. Neck pickup reads 8.2k ohms and the Bridge 7.8k ohms and the guitar sounds full and balanced. The nut measures 40mm and of course the frets and board are unmarked. One for the collector perhaps but it is a joy to play!
