1964 Gretsch 6120 Chet Atkins

probably the cleanest un faded western orange 1960’s Gretsch 6120 i have seen and oh so cool with all the case candy. It plays as good as it looks  and has a full strong tone more akin to the Country Gentleman as these closed F hole electro tone body 6120’s can. Everything works including the mute and all the plastic is in fantastic condition with no cracks to the pickup rings or the Chet Atkins pick guard. The binding is also in super condition with just some very light minor age related cracks to the upper neck binding. Unbelievably someone at some point has tried another set of tuners on the guitar, but the originals are back on with no exposed holes. The guitar has a perfect neck angle and the frets and ebony board are also in crisp condition. The case is an earlier 1950’s Gretsch 6120 snowflake case with banner and “G” pressed lining.
