1954 Gibson J185

Here we have a very cool and rare 1954 Gibson J185 thats just benefited from a recent professional neck reset resulting in a perfect playing example with plenty of meat in the saddle for further adjustment if required down the line. It has been refinished by Gruhn guitars in the late 1970’s and the various top cracks were also repaired and cleated at the same time. This model has all the qualities of the more common J200 but with a more manageable 16 inch body width and of course with has the desirable Maltese cross bridge making for a highly attractive guitar. It sounds incredible and is a perfect recording guitar for any style with less boom than a J200. It comes with its original brown case.
