Fabulous little 1963 Fender Pre CBS Musicmaster packed with all the good things from Fenders Golden period. It’s had a body only refinish in a kind of 2 tone sunburst finish but the rest of the guitar is completely original including the uber cool rexine covered Fender case. It has the 22 1/2 inch scale length with a rosewood clay dot neck which is in superb condition including the frets and has the fat 63 profile. It’s strung with 11’s which gives the guitar a good feel. It weighs just 6.3 lbs and the neck pickup reads 8.6 k ohms and sounds just like the neck pickup on your 1963 strat. All the electronics and parts are original to the guitar with the only thing of note being a chip to the lower horn of the guard. I’ve enjoyed owning this for a few years now and not entirely sure i can live without it as bang for buck it can’t be beat!
