I can’t believe how good an instrument this is, we have all heard the rumours about the quality of the 1980’s Tokai production, but i have never really come across anything that really has had it for me. So it’s a surprise that it comes in the form of a bass. It weighs in at 9 lbs 4 oz and has that deep dark rosewood board that Fender Japan also seem to find. The fretwork is almost un marked and it plays with that snappy feel which resonates in your chest. The pictures tell the story. If you’re not brand motivated you will have to spend a good deal more to find an instrument of equal performance and quality. Comes with a thin line ABS case
