Cool Gibson BR9 lapsteel amplifier and the perfect partner to the BR9 lap steel we have listed right now. This one shows some wear and corrosion but then it is 65 years old. The original field coil speaker has been re coned plus the amp has had some work including the filter caps. Not the loudest amplifier in the world on account of the inefficient speaker but certainly has a vibe and a place for driven sounds at low volume. I feel Gibson amplifiers have been underrated for far too long and still offer fantastic value for money over the Fender opposition.
