Dirtybird Custom Bass Guitar Fenderbird John Entwistle Style.
This bass was built by the late Ian Kim, a luthier who had for many years worked at the Peerless factory in Korea.
The bass was built primarily for travelling abroad with the Who tribute band (Who’s Next), being the right aesthetic for the 70s period Who show.
The bass is built to a custom specification, Thunderbird style body, Precision style neck, high output (19.16 Kohm) Dimarzio DP127 WH ceramic, double blade split P-style humbucking pickup. A vintage Leo Quan Badass II bridge and Wilkinson tuning pegs.
The bass is finished in high gloss black with a white pickguard. It has a low, comfortable-playing action.
Shows signs of use as expected with one small ding of note to the rim of the top horn.
