In collector grade condition. Just the signed truss rod cover gives away the fact this is a Buddy Holly signature guitar which is infact a superb sounding classic wartime “Only A Gibson Is Good Enough” Banner Gibson J 45 inspired guitar It has a Sitka spruce top with mahogany back and sides with a rosewood fingerboard and bridge. An early style tortoiseshell pattern pick guard and enclosed butter bean tuners complete the vintage look. #209 of only 250 made in 1996 which is printed on the label. Lovely fresh deep sunburst finish with some age related lacquer crazing and some handling marks from very light use. Overall very good 9 out of 10 guitar. Comes with its original case with pink embroidered “Buddy Holly J45” shroud.
