1980 G & L L1000 Bass
One of the first and quite possibly the cleanest G & L L1000 bass on the market. We all know the pedigree behind the G&L logo so its nice to get an early first year guitar. AS you can see the guitar is in simply fantastic condition and a decent weight.
The neck is super comfortable and very nicely rounded maple neck with a skunk stripe down the back. Maple fingerboard with black dot inlays and a 1 11/16” nut. Schaller open-gear tuners, 34” scale length.
The pickup is a MFD humbucker with a master volume control, bass control and treble control. There’s a 3-way mini toggle with settings for series/split/parallel. The series setting has a capacitor in the circuit for a boosted bass sound.
