This is the very guitar used in the 1973 Fender advertising campaign as seen in the pictures. Its an incredibly good sounding guitar and one among the first 1000 instruments to come out of Fullerton. #0260 Although it has been refinished (the neck by Fender in 1973) it retains all the key features that make these guitars unique. The case is an impossibley rare early tweed thermometer case that only the first guitars came in.
