Gretsch G6120 – Chet Atkins Hollow Body Cadillac Green

Handwired Pickups

The dual High Sensitive Filter’Tron™ pickups sound amazing. The Neck pickup has a slightly warmer, fatter tone to it that’s great for gentle country strumming while the Bridge is sharp and bright with plenty of midrange for cutting through the mix on lead lines. High Sensitive Filter Trons are a little hotter than other Trons and have a bit of extra bite which is great for that 70’s American rock tone. If you like a little Neil Young/CCR edge to your tone this could be just what you’re after

Bigsby Tremelo

If you’re after a great sounding vibrato the Bigsby is for you. It has limited range compared to vibrato units using longer springs contained internally. Pushing gently down on the arm the bridge rocks forward causing the strings to loosen, lowering their pitch. The arm may also be lifted to raise the pitch of the strings. The Bigsby is highly controllable within its range of motion and usually requires little force to operate. It is ideally suited to musicians who use slow, subtle, or extended bends.
