2007 Fender Telecaster Deluxe Cherry Sunburst
The guitars features include – SCN Noiseless pickups, abalone shell dot inlays, a “spaghetti” metalized Fender logo, comfort carved neck pocket – allowing easier access to the higher register, rolled fret board edges, Schaller strap locks, Mircrotilt neck adjustment, 22 medium jumbo frets
This guitar has an alder body with this amazing cherry sunburst, and is bound in a stunning crisp white binding. The neck is a one piece maple, with a walnut skunk stripe and has abalone dot inlays, a comfortable C shape neck profile, with 9.5” radius fingerboard and deluxe staggered tuners.
The pickups are Samarium Cobalt Noiseless (SCN) pickups, and were designed by Bill Lawrence, with the goal of further reducing noise while improving the “single-coil” tone. Samarium cobalt is a rare earth magnet that is more powerful than the Alnico 5 magnets traditionally used in pickup design.
The guitar also features fender’s S-1 switch – which gives more tonal option by offering extra pickup-wiring configuration. Basically the switch changes whether the pickups are wired series or parallel. When you have the switch off, the pickups are in parallel, like a normal Tele, and when the switch is on it is wired in series giving you a fatter tone.
